About The Event
The story of the City of London unfolds as we walk along the footpath beside the river Thames. This is where London began, prospered, suffered and entertains. It is the artery that feeds the beating heart of London!
On this walk, we'll pass some of the City of London's most iconic landmarks including the Millennium bridge, St. Paul's cathedral, London bridge, HMS Belfast and the Tower of London. Along with the key sights, the river also tells it's own story of survival. Did you know there are now 115 different species of fish living in the river?
As we walk along the river and enjoy the spectacular views, the story of London will unfold from it's birth as a Roman trading outpost, it's growth as an economic powerhouse, it's almost complete destruction and it's rebirth into today's vibrant capital.
